We LOVE Kids!
Sundays:
9am: Sunday School (grouped in age specific classes)
10am: Children's Church- during the worship time
(Starts after Communion during the service).
At Cedar Falls Christian Church, everyone is taking steps with Jesus and this includes babies & kids! We believe in partnering with families, and equipping parents to help their children in their journey with Jesus.
Kids can meet new friends and have experiences at a church that meets them where they are. Programs and group experiences are a safe place for kids to explore faith, invite friends and build a spiritual foundation that will last.
Nursery
Infants up to the steadily walking stage *
Children are a gift from God and we treasure each one of them. We are fully staffed with an appropriate number of dedicated and loving adults, who have all been properly screened and trained to ensure a safe environment of your child. The nursery is for infants up to the steadily walking stage.
Parents are welcome to have infants stay close during the service with access to the infant/parent room on the main level for changing or rocking.
Toddlers
Children steadily walking up to age 4 *
We are aware that at this age children begin to explore the world around them. Our trained staff strives to encourage this gift of curiosity in a safe environment through movement and song.
Children's Church
Kindergarten to 5th grade*
Our volunteers teach through crafts, music, drama, and fast-paced fun. The lesson is reinforced through life application activities. Students are able to build relationships with volunteers and each other. We currently use RoseKidz curriculum from Rose Publishing.
*These are all located in the lower level of the church.
All kids are required to be checked-in by a parents/guardian before participating.
